MadMacWolf Media is based in the Scottish Highlands, creating photography, film and aerial imagery that celebrates Scotland’s landscapes, wildlife and the people who work within them.

Whether I’m waiting quietly for wildlife, filming dramatic scenery from the air or creating visual content for businesses and organisations, my aim is always the same — to produce authentic, high-quality imagery that tells a genuine story.

My background has always been centred around working outdoors, often in demanding environments where planning, safety and attention to detail matter.

Those experiences have shaped the way I approach every project today. Patience, preparation and respect for both nature and the people I work with are at the heart of everything I produce.

Living and working in the Highlands provides daily access to some of the most remarkable scenery in the UK.

From ancient Caledonian forests and rugged mountains to remote coastlines and ever-changing weather, Scotland provides endless opportunities to create imagery that feels natural, honest and distinctive.

Many of the photographs and films featured throughout this website are captured during personal expeditions, often involving early starts, long walks and plenty of patience.

Equipment You Can Trust

Professional results rely on experience, but they also require dependable equipment.

I use professional Sony cameras and lenses, DJI aerial platforms and specialist audio recording equipment to produce high-resolution photography, cinematic video and authentic environmental sound recordings.

The equipment featured on this website is the same equipment I use in the field. If I recommend something, it’s because I genuinely use it myself.
